The ingredients needed to make Bheja Katakat:
- Take 2 Goat Brains
- Make ready 1 tsp Salt
- Get 1/2 tsp Cumin powder roasted
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander powder roasted
- Get 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- Prepare 2 Green Chillies finely chopped
- Make ready 1 Onion finely chopped
- Take 1 bunch Coriander Leaves finely chopped
- Get 1/2 tsp Kasuri Methi
- Take 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Get 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Prepare 2 tbsp Oil
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
Instructions to make Bheja Katakat:
- Heat Oil and saute Ginger garlic paste with Green Chillies and Onions on a low heat until translucent and done. Add washed and cleaned Brains now.
- Fry for a minute or two and then add all the rest of the spices except Kasuri Methi. Cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes. Stir in between to ensure even cooking of both the Brains added. Also add half of the finely chopped Coriander Leaves. Mix and cook in such a way that everything looks so well mashed up and absolutely with no bigger pieces. It should be sauteed well until Oil starts separating from the sides of the pan.
- Garnish with the remaining freshly chopped Coriander Leaves and Kasuri Methi homemade one. Serve with Parathas, Chapatis or Phulkas. It's a perfect way to enjoy a healthy meal with your loved ones.
