  6. Pour the batter in a greased loaf tin, sprinkle some nuts and cherries on the top. Bake it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let it cool, demould and cut the cake and store in an airtight container.
