- Preheat oven to 400.
- Slice sausage into medallions and fry in a bit of butter to your preference. My husband loves them really burnt.
- Fry the frozen pierogi in another skillet with a bit of butter, 5 minutes per side. If you have more than 1 skillet do steps 2 & 3 at the same time, if not just set the sausage aside when your done.
- Layer the pierogi in the bottom of a baking dish top with your fried sausage, shredded cheese and some dollops of sour cream. Top with salt and pepper.

Add bratwurst and cook, breaking into pieces with a wooden spoon. Serve pierogies and sausages with bits of fried onion, bacon and top with sour cream. It added some color and the broccoli went perfectly with the sausage and pierogi. I served the sausages separately and it worked out well. I did use non fat sour.
