  2. In a large frying pan pour just 1 tsp of cooking oil. Then add the chicken. Cook it until the colour turns into brownish. Then add onion and tomatoes. As we prefer bit spicy so I have added some green chillies but it’s optional.
  3. Now add all the spices and cook for 10mins on medium heat. Then pour the soaked rice & lentils. Mix them well. If you are using the raw vegetables, this is the time when you have to add the vegetables. Give it a good stir. After 7 to 10 minutes add 10 cups of water. Make sure it gets mushy. So need to pour enough water. Put the lid on and cook until everything gets perfectly cooked.
  4. Serve it hot with some lemon or any pickle. 🙂
